Manuscript in the hand of William Alexander chiefly recording transactions both aboard and ashore, relating to his voyages from Philadelphia to Cape Francois, Tortola, St. Thomas, and St. Bartholomew, on the schooner Little Will, and the brigs Peggy, Delaware, and Dispatch. Log includes a 6-page account with General William MacPherson. Many entries relate to Alexander's several detentions in the West Indies, especially the trial after the capture of the brig "Dispatch."
